  • KAP7 Extends Partnership with NCAA Through 2020

    December 20, 2017 2 min read

KAP7 International Inc. has renewed its partnership with the NCAA as the exclusive and official championship water polo game ball through the 2019-20 championships.

Designed to meet guidelines for local, national and global specifications, each KAP7 ball is constructed with extreme care and quality. With years of industry experience, specific design elements and top-of-the-line materials, KAP7 has created the long-lasting and extremely tacky HydroGrip for all levels of competition. KAP7 offers five sizes of balls. The KAP7 104 and 105 will be used in NCAA competition.

“It is a great honor to extend our partnership with the NCAA,” said Bradley Schumacher, double Olympic Gold Medalist, chief executive officer and founder of Kap7 International. “We are committed to servicing water polo student-athletes at the highest level, and being asked to continue our partnership with the NCAA reflects the quality products KAP7 is producing. Most importantly, the water polo community continues to support our efforts at K7, which allows us to continue to support the development of water polo worldwide.”

"As former NCAA athletes it is with great pride that we are now able to be a continuing sponsor of the NCAA" said Founder and Vice President Wolf Wigo, 3X Olympian and 2X World Champion. "The current student-athletes have given us great feedback that they feel like they are competing with the best ball in the world and that gives them a lot of confidence when training and playing.

“Providing our NCAA student-athletes and member schools with quality products is always our goal,” said Joni Comstock, NCAA senior vice president for championships. “Through its relationship with the NCAA, KAP7 has provided student-athletes and coaches with excellent championship equipment, and we look forward to working with KAP7 in the future.”
