To bring awareness to World Mental Health Day (October 10th), KAP7 interviewed Brian Alexander, former national team athlete and mental skill coach for USA Water Polo. We cover why mental health is being discussed more in athletics, why water polo is different from other sports, and what coaches and athletes can do if they notice someone struggling. 

The United States Olympic Men's Water Polo Team has announced the 13 athletes that will be nominated to represent Team USA at the upcoming Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, following a silver medal run at the FINA World League Super Final in Tbilisi, Georgia. Team USA punched their ticket to Tokyo with a gold medal finish at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. Final approval of the selections is required by the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee and will be announced at a later date.

The United States. Olympic Women's Water Polo Team announced the 13 athletes that will be nominated to represent Team USA at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics. The roster for the two-time defending Olympic champions and three-time defending World Champions features eight returners from the Rio Olympic Games and two-returners from the London Olympic Games. 

The United States artistic swimming duet qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, but the full team barely misses out. 

TURBO, a leading global manufacturer of water polo suits, caps, and robes has signed an agreement with USA Water Polo to rejoin the national governing body as the Official Competition Gear Supplier. As part of the agreement, TURBO will outfit the USA National Teams at every level along with producing custom products for the ODP program, and the U.S. Olympic Water Polo Teams competing in Tokyo.

KAP7 is proud to announce that we have expanded our partnership with LEN European Aquatics through 2026. KAP7 will be the sole provider or water polo balls for all LEN competitions.
