KAP7 Supports Water Polo in Kenya

Since our inception, KAP7 has invested time, resources, and proceeds into developing the sport of water polo globally. One of our most recent efforts has been to grow the sport in Africa, and we are seeing more club participation and higher quality of play, so it seems like our efforts pay off!

We were given the opportunity to break down the barrier to entry and cut the costs it takes to get a program up and running. For example, the club water polo program in Nairobi, Kenya did not exist 6 months ago and now it is thriving. The community is finding a passion and love for the game and you can clearly see how much fun the kids are having. 

Leading the help is Doug Munz, a former National Team Athlete who landed in Nairobi and took on the challenge to start a program and teach the fundamental skills of the game. We are excited to announce that the team will play its first game on May 7th and can’t wait to hear about the results.
