SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference announced on
Wednesday a multi-year partnership with KAP7 as the Official Water Polo Ball of
the WCC as the Conference will soon begin the inaugural men's water polo season
KAP7 will receive significant branding and on-site activation presence during the
WCC Men's Water Polo Tournament, which will take place from Nov. 17-19 at
Pepperdine. The tournament can be seen on ESPN+. “Partnering with KAP7 as the Official Water Polo Ball of the West Coast
Conference will provide our league and members with access to the equipment
used at the highest level of this sport,” said Sean Harris, WCC Associate
Commissioner, Championships & Sports Administration. “We appreciate KAP7's
support for our newly established men's water polo program and look forward to
collaborating with an internationally recognized brand.” “KAP7 is excited to partner with the West Coast Conference as the official water polo ball,” said Bradley Schmacher, KAP7 President and founder. "This is a great opportunity for student-athletes to showcase their abilities with a nationally-recognized organization and is inline with our mission to support the sport of water polo nationally. Having the WCC add water polo provides the participating universities a direct path to the NCAA Championship. We look forward to see the athletes compete with the KAP7 NCAA Hydrogrip Ball."
As the official water polo ball, KAP7 will also receive an integrated marketing
presence throughout a full-year of assets with WCC alumni, fans, students and
