COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - USA Artistic Swimming has announced a new partnership venture with TURBO/KAP7 Swimwear. The Spain-based brand focuses on high-quality swimwear for all water sports. Founded in 1959, TURBO has been a leader in the industry for over 50 years and has a long partnership history with globally competitive aquatic sports teams like water polo and swimming. The strategic partnership allows for TURBO to become the official swimwear partner of USA Artistic Swimming.
In partnership with KAP7, the rights holder of TURBO Swimwear distribution in the United States, USA Artistic Swimming’s national team will wear TURBO as their competition suit during their 2021 technical team, technical duet and highlight routines. TURBO Swimwear will also offer special promotions to all USA Artistic Swimming clubs and athletes. In addition to online offers, all attendees will have the opportunity to shop TURBO products at future USAAS events.
Adam Andrasko, USA Artistic Swimming’s CEO, said, “We are very excited to partner with TURBO and KAP7. They have stepped up for our team and organization in a big way. They want to support all of our athletes, from highest-level to novice. They share the We Move As One ideology and I look forward to showcasing their brand to the world as our national team fights to qualify for the Olympic Games and our age group and master's athletes return to the competition pool."
Bradley Schumacher, CEO of KAP7 International, Inc, echoed similar excitement: “We are very excited to support USA Artistic Swimming and the sport asa whole. When artistic teams purchase TURBO branded merchandise, 10% of their purchase will go back into the sport of artistic swimming for programming, marketing and sport development across the country. Historically, sponsorship focused just on the highest-level athletes and now we have a platform to help all levels. Simply put, the more artistic teams purchase the more resources USA Artistic Swimming will have to deploy for the sport.”
