KAP7 and Golden Coast Conference Renew Partnership With Five-Year Agreement

November 29, 2022—KAP7 and the Golden Coast Conference are excited to announce a renewed five-year partnership through the 2027 season.

The Golden Coast Conference is a NCAA collegiate athletic conference in the United States and was founded in 2013 fielding women's water polo teams. The 2023 NCAA national collegiate women's water polo season will be the 10th anniversary for the conference, which has teams regularly featured in the nation's top-20. The league also included a men's division (2016-2022) with all six institutions in the nation's top-15.

"The Golden Coast Conference has become one of the premier water polo conferences in college water polo and we are excited to continue our partnership as their official ball for the next 5 years," said Bradley Schumacher, President of KAP7. Membership for the GCC's 10th anniversary season includes Azusa Pacific University, California Baptist University, Concordia University Irvine, Fresno State University, Loyola Marymount University, University of the Pacific, San Diego State University and Santa Clara University. The 2023 season begins the weekend of Jan. 13 and concludes with the 2023 GCC Women's Championships April 28-30 hosted by San Diego State. The winner will earn the league's automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Water Polo Championships in May.
