LOS ALAMITOS, CA – The CIF Southern Section is proud to announce the extension of its partnership with KAP7 International, Inc. as the Official Water Polo Ball Supplier from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2031. This renewed agreement strengthens a longstanding relationship between two leaders in the sport and ensures that high school water polo athletes across the Southern Section will continue to compete with elite-level equipment.

Recognized as the most competitive and tradition-rich high school water polo region in the country, the CIF Southern Section is home to many of the top programs and athletes in the sport. The continued partnership with KAP7 reflects the Section’s commitment to excellence and consistency across all levels of competition.

“It’s a pleasure to continue our long-standing partnership with KAP7 for another five years,” said CIF-SS Commissioner of Athletics Mike West. “KAP7 has been a strong and dependable supporter of high school water polo, and we value the continued benefits this partnership brings to our student-athletes and member schools.”

Under the terms of the extended contract, KAP7 will continue to provide CIF Southern Section–branded game balls for all water polo championship events. The company will also offer ongoing support through promotional efforts, event participation, and development initiatives aimed at growing the sport from the ground up.

    About CIF Southern Section
The CIF-SS is the governing body for high school athletics in most of Southern California and is the largest of the ten sections that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF). Its membership includes most public and private high schools
in Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Santa Barbara, and
Kern counties. Founded in 1913, the CIF Southern Section includes over 560-member public and private high schools and is by far the largest CIF section. Three of the ten CIF sections are individual current or former public-school districts (Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland). The Southern Section's membership includes all private schools located within the service area of the LAUSD, which includes almost all of the city of Los Angeles plus some adjacent areas outside the city limits. If the CIF Southern Section were a state association, it would be the 10th largest in the United States
